Pebz is my dealer

Turns out it's easier when you're not paying attention.

Got to school. Carie was there. Listened to tunes. Ellen got there. Went inside.
Helped Ellen with word search.

Japanese was boring. Just completely boring. The atmosphere wasn't there.
Algebra 2 was alright. I like the stuff we learn in there. I get it. Even the real world situations.
Lunch was cool. Right before, I got some senior stuff. Lunch itself was just weird.
Earth/Space was fun, but only because of the extent that we were joking around. I still took notes. Note days are the best.
Creative Writing, we had Haas. I hate her as a sub. As a person, she's fine. As a sub, not so much. Finished up Dead Poets Society. Great movie, see it if you haven't already.
Rehearsal after school. Pages 1-14. I like the system of doing things. I'm just trying my best not to let Jacobs and everyone else down. Most dedication I've given almost anything ever.

:D

Got to school. Carie was already there. I got there later due to waking up late and scraping ice off my windows.
Listened to some tunes until Ellen got there, then went inside.
W131 was boring.
English was alright. We actually watched the music video for Tom Petty's "Last dance of Mary Jane". That was awesome.
In Ap Psych, we did stuff.
Lunch was fun. Outside gets colder as the year rolled on.
German was equally boring as W131, but we got new seats.
Rehearsal was fun. I'm afraid of heights. Mostly the steep ladder part. But it was fun hanging with Ethan, Tucker, Allison, Will, and eventually Jayme and Frankie for most of the time.
Hung with Carie a bit afterwards.

Now I'm home.

Woo.

Flash! AH AH!

Got to school. Sat in my car, listening to music and doing homework. Eventually, mom pulled up, thinking I had left my lights on. That was funny.
Finally, someone showed up (Carie) and we went inside.
Morning was a bit meh-some, but good nonetheless.
Japanese was alright, yet boring, sushi-style.
Algebra 2 was simple. The stuff we learn in there is easy.
Lunch was fun.
Earth/Space was just stupid. Mrs. Gummer has the most roundabout ways of doing stuff. Like not teaching. That's a main one.
Creative Writing, we watched Dead Poets Society, which I love. We have to do stuff with it, but meh. It's all good.

After school, I had read through, and now that I read Willy's lines aloud, I realize that he's a lot more crazy than I first gave him credit.

After that, I went to the choir concert and hung with Ryan, Jayme, and Kortney. Kortney, Carie, and I hung around for a little bit after, then we went home.

Postscript: Ryan and Kortney right before the show was about to start. Didn't realize flash was on. Made pic worse than it should've been.

Meeting One: Success

Got up, went to school. Sat for awhile listening to music, until Carie got there. Went inside and hung out until class started.
Finished Ever After in W131. Mr. Bryant got all upset with watching movies in class, and Mr. Oliver won the verbal beatdown by telling him to take it up with IU's curiculum.
English was cool. We studied the Raven. No joke. The only thing we did was pick apart the Raven by Edgar Allen Poe.
AP Psych was alright. We didn't really do much, but promises of future things.
Lunch was awesome. We had fried greenbeans. We sat outside, and even though it felt good, people were complaining about the cold.
German was just bleh.

After school, we went to Starbucks (after a financial beatdown from my mother) for the first NaNoWriMo meeting. Not only did we get stuff done, we had fun, which is just as much important.
Carolyn was the most vague, and hilarious, and contradictory person to talk. She had us laughing (at her expense, no offense to her) for 16 minutes by Carie's watch. That was great.

Feature: First Nine Weeks winners (Favorite person)
W131: IO BATKA
ENGLISH: JESSICA GEORGE
AP PSYCHOLOGY: PEBBLES
GERMAN: CASEY BOLDA
JAPANESE: CHELSEA SCOTT/ALYCIA KNOX
ALGEBRA 2: MANDI THOMPSON
EARTH/SPACE: JORDON BURNSIDE
CREATIVE WRITING: TONI TILLET

Postscript: I caught IO, Carie, Fred, and Anthony as they were laughing at Carolyn. I tried to get everyone, but didn't have the room.

10/17/08

Japanese was alright from what I could remember. The atmosphere was in one of those good moods that I'm in usually.
Algebra 2 was boring. We had a sub. We took notes. That was pretty much it.
Lunch was fine. I don't remember what I did?
Earth/Space was also boring. Test. And other stuff. It was pretty easy. I've retained all this stuff.
Creative Writing was also fun. All character stuff, which for me, is a good thing. I like doing character stuff, but it's one of my weakest points.

After school we had rehearsal. And then the play. And an awesome audience. And good energy. It went awesomely.

Feature: I HAD A GOOD WEEKEND. Can't go into details, 'cuz that isn't what the blog is about.

~Zaq

Postscript: Frankie, Carolyn, and Peyton (sp?) standing around.

10/16/08

Woo, way days late.

Sadly, I don't remember anything that I did.

Had W131, watched Ever After.
Had English, stuff about Poe
Psych, we were blindfolded. It was fun, I'll give it that. We made human pyramid, found stuff, wandered aimlessly. 'Twas much fun.
Lunch, was difficult blinded
German, boredom

Rehearsal, happened. From what I remember, it was alright.

Sorry abo0ut the lack of stuff, but Carie had thought she had lost her camera. It took awhile to get the pic. And then I just didn't feel like it.

FREE CAR WASH!

Woke up, drove to school. Like always. Sat in the parking lot listening to my newest playlist. It's amazing. It's my favorite and it has no NIN or Smashing Pumpkins. That's just...wow.

Anywho, shortly thereafter, Ellen pulled up, so we walked up to the school and went to the Japanese Club Doughnut Breakfast.

A bunch of people has PSATs today, so Japanese was low on people, especially people that I talk to. Algebra was even less.
Lunch was pretty cool. No real reason. Just was.
Earth/Space was boring. There's a new girl in our class though, so a new person to get weirded out and laughing about our group. We had to watch AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH and it was boring.
Creative Writing was fun. We're beginning on character development.

Woot.

Which reminds me that NANOWRIMO is soon.

Rehearsal was simply boring. Dinner Theater just gets that way. Without an audience, there's not much to do.
Afterwards, it was pouring. I handed my stuff off, ran across the parking lot, got in my car, came back to drive Carie to her car, and the rain was nearly stopped.
Bull....

Oh well.

Postscript: Ellen, pointing at something. She seems excited about it though.

So close

Got to school at the normal time. Read with the 5 girls who were at callbacks. Cast list finalized at the end of the day.
W131 was fun. We just did projects. Next time we start watching Ever After. The class is getting progressively better...for now.
English was boring. Poe was a good writer, yes, but I don't like him all that much. We pretty much just watched his biography the whole time.
Walking up to the door for AP Psych, Mr. Leswing tells us that as soon as we cross the threshold into the room, we can't talk. Not even during lunch. It was a thing about non-verbal communication. On Thursday, we are going to be blindfolded.
Lunch was fun with not being able to talk.
German was alright. Mostly notes... woo...notes...

Rehearsal was long and drawn out today, and afterwards, I gotta hang out with Anthony, Carie, and Tucker. That was fun.

Feature: I wrote this with three minutes to spare.

Postscript: Madi shows up to tech for no reason. So I took the picture. She posed at the last possible second. Skillz

quick

Got into school. Mr. Jacobs delayed callbacks to tomorrow morning. Yeesh.

Japanese was simple. Turns out our story was a ghost story, which I called. Class ended early.
So did Algebra 2, where we had a test.
The reason for the shortages was due to a Voice convocation about the dangers of drugs and stuff. The guy told a story about his daughter who died of Heroin abuse. His tale was gripping, and my attention was held.
Earth/Space was boring, as was Creative Writing.

Rehearsal was drawn out, and Ted wasn't even there. Afterward, Anthony, Carie, and I hung out a bit.

<3 Peace

Postscript: Anthony, Me, and Carie chilling out on Carie's car.

A body piercing cooler than any navel ring.

Went to school, finished up the note cards for Psychology. That was fun and crazy. Got more Gummy Bears from Kayla. Remember kids, when Zaq has candy, he'll share it with people he likes.
First period, W131. I'm working with Mallorie Taylor and Allison McCord for the Cinderella thing. We got 1960's poem version which was just odd. Really, really odd. Probably made more sense on an acid trip.
In the end, it was fine enough.
Second period, English, we finished Crucible. i did the amazing multitasking of watching the movie/joining in discussion/and doing my AP Psych homework. Woo!
Ap Psych, TEST! WOO! My homework was done, and I was ready for the test. I feel that I did fairly well, but we'll see. Those things have the ability to come back on me. After the test, it was about 12:15, so I felt the need to go down to the CMR FINALLY and get my blood drawn. This year, they have the RA maching, where they only take the red cells from you and put your plasma back, as well as saline to replace the liquid. I chose it. Every time you get the return, it gets really cold in your arm. There are four draws and four returns. The returns got progressively colder. It was awesome.
By the time I was done, SSR was over and it was time for German. Most of what we did was writing, so that was fun to do without bending my arm. Frau kept commenting on my paleness and saying she wished she had something to feed me, even though I felt fine. It was great.

After school, I had rehearsal. It was alright. Repeatative, since a lot of people either don't know their lines or keep changing things up. Hell, Taylor didn't even get to die. All in all, it was alright.

Feature: Zaq has to be there Monday to read with potential Linda's for the female callback. Sarcastic woo...

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: I couldn't get video of the needle going into my vein, but I got a picture of the aftermath. You can tell by the tube that it's during the return, since saline is pumping back in.

Jaded...Ja-Ja-Jaded

Woke up and got to school. Woo-ness. Got to hang out with nobody and was listening to my ipod most of the time. Conversations only when I wanted them. It was pretty sweet.
Japanese felt good. I didn't have the same dialogue partner, but that's not the good part. At one point, Mr. Bryant came in, so instead of jumping to Kenshin like normal, sensei quickly put up a worksheet and had us read off what they were until Mr. Bryant left. That was awesome.
Kenshin was what felt right. It was relaxing and comfortable, and friendly. Not the show itself, but the atmosphere. Everything felt right.
Algebra 2 was pretty wicked. We went over homework and spent the rest of the time talking while putting together our portfolios and finishing up some stuff. I liked it. Most of my classes ended up like that today.
Lunch was cool. I don't remember much from it. I was kind of there, just listening to conversations and joining in when I felt like it.
Earth/Space was boring like always, but it felt more peaceful. Nothing much to say.
Creative writing was lacking its normal routine, due to Mrs. Heck being absent, and Mrs. Haas being out sub. Luckily, we're in the computer lab working on our projects, so not much to worry about. Mrs. Haas' threats are empty, so we talked.
Before creative writing, I had put my ipod in my pocket, so that after the class, I could blare the music and not have anyone ruin the cast list for me. When I got there, it wasn't up yet, so I relaxed against the wall, listening to Jaded by Aerosmith. Mr. Jacobs finally came around the corner and put it up.
We had CSz, but due to dinner theater, I had to miss it. Instead, I was at rehearsal, which was good. I think it went well. I'm connecting more with people that I would regret not knowing as friends after I graduate. I'm glad for this.
I'm also glad that Sammy is going to do sound tech for Midwinter.

Feature 1: Zaq Cass is going to play Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman" for the GCHS Drama Department.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: The pic I wanted got deleted. I'm not saying I don't like this one. It's pretty awesome. The other one was more of a focus on Carie though. This has Carie being Carie with Carolyn and Will in the background

A Day For Arthur Miller

Woke up, got a ride from school. Brakes mucked up on my car. Fixed. Woo. Bleed money.

W131 was pretty awesome. We get an opinion on our next paper, so that's cool.
In English, we started watching The Crucible.
AP Psych, we continued on with our projects and stuff. Test next time. Woo, cramming.
Lunch, only seven of us went outside. It wasn't that badly cold/raining. People need to relax.
(God, it was freezing)
German was cool. We go beyond learning though, and take it to the very last minute, which annoys me a bit.

After school, we had auditions for the Midwinter, Death of a Salesman. I tried out for Willy. I hope I get it. That'd be sweet. I only mucked up on lines, and Mr. Jacobs didn't know the monologue, so he wouldn't have realized.

After that, I hung with Ellen and Anthony backstage, waiting for the end.

Then home.

Then fell asleep.
Now awake.

short

Today was grey. Simple as it is, today was grey. Even as I write this, the skies are dark and the ground is littered with an earlier rainfall.
The atmosphere always matches the mood when I'm actually paying attention.

Japanese was alright. Annoying, but alright.
Algebra 2 was the same.
And Earth/Space
And Creative writing.

Then there's comedy sportz. Which I'm not getting into. IO can go take her opinion of my role in it and shove it up her ass.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: The only happiness in my day was spending the little time I got to with Ellen. Luckily I took this pic. Luckily, she smiled.

I don't wear blue jeans because I love the rabbits

Woo, I'm writing on a day that I experienced today. That's sweet.

The day went fairly quick. Apparently, I didn't learn much.

W131, we went over papers.
English, we had tests.
AP Psychology, we did presentations.
Lunch was alright.
And in German, we watched a movie.

Simplicity.

Rehearsal sucked.

Got home. Waited. Worked on my Nanowrimo Character Development most of the day.
Mom got home.
Ate dinner.
Watched tv.

Then nothingness.

Just encouraging people to join Nanowrimo and tell me their ID numbers so I can watch their progress.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Ellen wanted a hug, but IO was holding her back. Carie likes being in pics.

10/03/08

Ah, now what do I remember about Friday?
Not much...

Wow....

Japanese first. Test, then an hour of Kenshin, which is crazy.
Then Algebra 2. Easy stuff, if I remember.
Lunch-normal
Earth/Space- boring, thus normal
And Creative Writing probably rocked my socks. The assignments get exponentially greater in that class.

Also went to Riley Days and had an awesome time. Went to Battle of the Bands, watched Chelsea and Panic Prone, which was awesome. Chelsea is an amazing singer, and her singing Immigrant Song gave me chillz.

Saturday was awesome too. That's all I'm saying.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: We had rehearsal shortly after school. Mr. Jacob's bday was fun. The pic is Tucker, myself, and IO before rehearsal.

10/02/08

I can only update for Thursday, because someone took the camera back to take pics even though I said "No, I'm about to leave."
Now when she reads this, she's gonna be all, "I didn't hear you say that."
Even though I said it twice.

Anywho, Thursday was good. For what I can remember.

Easy classes. W131, did nothing. English, finished discussion on THE CRUCIBLE. AP Psych, work day, German, random movie.
After school, Frankie, Fred, IO, Anthony, Carie, Erin, and John went to Chicago's. We had awesome time, then went to all the possible dollar stores, walmart, big lots, and back to school for rehearsal. After rehearsal, we snuck into Mr. Jacobs' room to decorate it for his birthday. Twas pretty awesome.

Can't remember much else.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript:John, Fred, IO, Ryan, Haley, Hannah, and Carie pose after decorations. Anthony had left for a second to get something, and we had to take it quick because Fred was leaving.

Oktober

Woke up.
It was cold outside.
Really cold.

Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally cold.

Still is.

Japanese first. It was alright. Friends make things better, especially when you make them feel better about their selves.
Algebra was alright. Easy work. Test will be easy. Mwahaha.
Lunch was cool. I hung out with IO in the Econ mall, helping her, Jermas, and Kevin sell stuff. 'Twas great.
Earth/Space was alright. Labs. Woo......
And Creative Writing was cool. I'm excited. Now that we're out of the poetry unit, I'm anticipating good things.

Had a 21st century scholars meeting. Same stuff I heard at the last one I went to.
Then I shopped at the library, got a couple of books, two movies, and a best of dvd.

Watched "A Lot Like Love" which was an amazing movie. I liked it.

Nothing much more.

Feature: I wished I had a friend named Emily so I could call her "Em"
