Just in time

Yes, getting the blog in on time. Would've been up sooner, but Carie wants to have life??

So for the past two days (hence why I'm missing a Thursday and a Wednesday), we've had ice days. Not snow, ice. Well...Thursday was pretty clear, not gonna lie.

Anywho, today.

The half day.

Without finals.

Hey everyone, let's go to all 8 classes for 20 minutes each.

B1-Pointless
B2-Pointless
B3-Pointless
B4-Pointless
G1-Pointless
G2-Pointless
G3-Pointless
G4-Pointless

Sorry that it has to end on this note, gaiz.

See you next semester.

Scapegoat to rock the boat, yea, we need someone expendable

Title is from a song called "Locking Up the Sun" by Poets of the Fall. Check it out. Also check out "Roses" by them. Great band. Haven't found a song I don't like yet.

Woke up this morning, joyous of lack of ice on car. It was beautiful.
Japanese was Jeopardy! styled. Last Japanese class ever, and it was Jeopardy! Ouch...
Followed by that, was my last High School Match Class ever. Even though all we did was review, it was awesome. Going to miss the people I hung out with in there.
Lunch was alright. Our school needs to get better food. Stupid funding and lack of care for the American Schoolchildren.
Earth/Space was straight up boring. Nothing in that class.
In Creative Writing, we spent the entire time writing a short story. Our final is going to be analyzing that story. I took the "Red Horse" virus from NIN: Year Zero and wrote about a girl as she experienced the symptoms until her eventual death.

After school, went to Anthony's for a bit. Then went home. Fell asleep. Woke up at 8:42.

Woo.

Postscript: Brandon watching television at his house. Woo. Random picture shot.

88? 94??? WHAT THE HECK??

I almost spaced typing this which would've caused me to go back to being behind quite epically.

Woke up this morning, on my AP Psych book. First time I've fell asleep doing homework, I tell ya. Weird experience. Followed Sammy most of the way to school too.
W131 was cool. IO got to do her presentation and her group was pretty awesome, especially the clips. They had a good topic, and they used that to their advantage.
In English, we had a sub, so essentially nothing was done. Hilarious. I did find my schedule for next semester though, and have three classes with IO, with two of them being third period, therefore having lunch with her. No math too. Next semester will rock.
AP Psychology was boring. After turning in work, we had the period to ourselves. It was boring, simply boring.
German was awesome. I really wished I had taken it my Freshmen year and continued from there. Apparently, I'm a natural with it, and I simply love the class and the language.

On Friday, I found out that there are only 88 days this semester. So to have the 180 day necessary, we'd have to have 92 next semester. However, when someone was counting next semester, they said 94 days. So if this becomes a 182 day blog, so be it. But I'm not changing the name. Let it be a misnomer.

I CAN HAS TITLE???

Woo! I get to write in present time again. Sa-weet.

Woke up slightly late. Took forever to scrape my windshield. Thanks to mom for scraping my normal windows for me while I was still upstairs.

Japanese was fun. Played a bunch of random card games after work was completed. Benefits working with Billy at translation. Sensei began teaching me how to play Euchre, but the bell rang early, we forgot about SSR.
Algebra 2 went swimingly. It was another work 'til you drop things, but the conversations are always fun in there.
Lunch was boring. There were three of us at the table. Quite empty today.
Earth/Space sucked. I hate rocks. Minerals. They can all go melt in a volcano, and become a different kind of rock.
Creative Writing, we read from our notebooks. I got to read my take of dissection, and the reactions from people was awesome.

After school, I cleaned up backstage while IO began painting the last cutout. We kept going to the German Club Party to get food to bring back. We eventually finished and decided to bring them to Frau, who loved them.

After this, IO and I went to go see the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" which was awesome. Apparently Keanu does say "Klaatu barada nikto" but they played it backwards and it was at the beginning when Klaatu gets shot.

Then we went to Mozzis with some people, and as we were leaving saw another person we knew, Allison.

Then I went home.

Yay

It's been awhile since I've gotten to write a full one. That was fun.
<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: You can see my awesome cutout work as IO is painting it. She is excited as well.

12/11

Thursday. You'd think it would be more burned into my memory, being yesterday, but you would be wrong.

Actually, I do remember it.

Filler space=win

W131. Presentation. We went after the awesome one. Not fair. We did good for what we set out to do, so meh.
English, watched the PBS Scarlet Letter. Horrible. And we get to continue next time.
AP Psych, some talked out finishing touches to our project. All actual work to be done at home.
German? AWESOME. I made a Christmas card that had a pair of bloodshot eyes that stated "St. Niklaus ist Wachen Du (St. Nicholas is watching you).

After school, I helped (and by help, I mean do all) IO cut out her picture things for Frau Clements. A few cuts, a few splinters, a bruised hand, but it got done.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: I had the camera on zoom by accident. Frankie ws closer than the camera thought.

12/10

Wednesday.

Still not feeling that well.

Gold day though.

Japanese. Did work, then played cards.
Algebra 2, strictly work period. Kind of.
Lunch was hilarious for some reason.
Earth/Space sucked. I hate rock work. it's so boring.
Creative Writing, finished Freedom Writers. At the beginning, Mrs. heck said that the she didn't like the white kid's role because he seemed holier-than-thou compared to the non-white students. And she's wrong. The kid had his own problems. He was the slacker of his group. He was afraid, and he was shy. There was no "I'm better than you." Our test was a takehome test though, so that's good.

After school, we had an ITS/DC meeting. That took forever. I then met up with my W131 group and we went to the public library for awhile, even though I ended up getting my portion done at home.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Mr. Jacobs talking during the ITS/DC meeting.

12/09

Half day. If it was longer, I would've risked the exempt a final, because I was sick.

W131, first group's presentation. Our group freaking out, promising to meet up the next day after school to work.
English, finished up stupid project.
Ap Psych, still working on group project. I got assigned the boring, drawn out job.
German was cool German is always cool.

This ranks as one of my all time least favorite half days. I was sick, so I went home. That;s it. Didn't hang out with anyone. Just stayed home.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: IO wanted to be in the pic, but at the last moment, I took a pic of the guy on the ladder. IO still exists though.

12/08

Monday.

Japanese was alright. Kind of boring.
Algebra 2, we took a quiz and then started on the review stuff. Yay for having to do the review even though I'm exempting the final.
Earth/Space. Surprise, we're doing rocks this semester. Crap.
Creative Writing, started watching Freedom Writers. It was a good movie.

Nothing really extra.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: I got Ellen to take a picture. I had to be in it=downfall. Worth her smile though.

12/05

Let's see...the fifth...a blue day.
So I can make the assumption and be correct because my blue day classes had been repetitive.

W131, we worked on our projects, preparing to be shown to the class.
English, we worked on our class project.
AP Psyche, we worked on our group project.
German, we talked about conjugating Möchten, the "would like" verb.

After school, saw Scrooge has left the building. 'Twas good.

That's about it. Fear the tiny post.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Light pole that we park by. Isn't it awesome?

12/04

Day started out late. Boring, rather.

Got to school. Did some homework, finished it up.

Japanese was alright. We spent the time making New Years cards. Year of the cow, moo! Learned a new card game too.
Algebra 2 was cool as well. Especially since I get to do the 3 day review stuff, but I'm exempting the final.
Lunch was cool.
Earth/Space was boring. The first half hour went by fast, the second slow, the last in between. Notes.
Creative Writing was alright. We went over beginnings and ends.

CSz after school. Was alright. A few people didn't show and we still had a lot of people, which isn't right. If everyone showed though, we would've split into varsity and jv.

Hung out with Sammy, Anthony, Ryan, Tucker, and Frankie afterwards. One by one we dwindled away.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Tucker, Frankie, and Carie playing slideshow

12/03

Day was slow...I had woken up super early.

W131 was suck, but my group got to go down to the library to work on our presentation.
English was alright. I had all my work done, and had nothing to do though.
AP Psych was alright. We're starting this new project. In our group, we have 2 girls that want to take over, two girls that want their ideas, but get shut down, and me. After a bit of arguing, they finally started asking our opinions, mainly mine, when deciding something.
Lunch was cool. Or cold, rather. Jamie,Jacob, and I sat outside. Sat, stood, whatever.
German was deadbeat. I didn't feel better and spent about 20 minutes in the nurses office laying on one of the beds.

Went home, work called. Canceled for me. Jerks. Went to Anthony's. We went to Family, Fun, and Fitness, and now I belong to it...

12/02

My car was frozen. 3 out of 4 of the doors were as well. I opened that door, turned on the car, and took about 15 minutes scraping frost off of the windshields and windows, plus opening the other doors.

Japanese was alright. We're starting on the obligatory essay of the semester, and I pretty much know everything I'm going to write. I'll turn it in early. I also finished our normal homework in there early.
Algebra 2 was alright. Learning imaginary numbers is fun. Everytime. It's a bitter wasteland of awesomeness.
Lunch was alright.
Earth/Space was boring. Rocks suck. Note it.
Creative Writing was alright. We're starting on plot. I wonder if one day, we'll be creative.

After school, I went home. It's so sad...

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: People don't want to take pics. At least Ellen smiled at the last second.

12/01

First day of December, it was sorta snowy outside. I was proud of nature.

W131 was t3h suck. No surprises.
English was hilarious. Bunnel is supposedly not Bunnel, but Donna Trump, Donald Trump's twin sister, for this project we're doing. It's pretty awesome.
AP Psycholy was boring. Leswing was absent, so we had a study period. Study periods are completely unproductive.
German was cool.

After school, hung out at Tucker's for a bit.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: I stopped Sensei Bringerud in the hallway for the pic. Apparently the kid that walked by wanted to be in it as well.

11/26

Half day and still managed to finish Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no Haka) in Japanese.
That's skill.

Algebra 2 would've been t3h suck.

Earth/Space was alright.

Creative Writing was sorta fun. We read over someone else's 2nd POV.

After school, hung out with some people at PK's.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Emo boy Anthony

11/25

Tuesday...

Blue Day...

Naturally it had to suck, right?

W131 definitely did. I can almost guarantee that.
English would've been alright.
AP Psych was fun. I remember it. We made a bunch of stuff and competed.
Lunch was alright.
German would've been ok.

Don't think I did anything after school except pick up tons of applications with Anthony.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: IO had to be in the pic without a sad face. Frankie joined her. Scarf...

11/24/08

I only missed Monday by seventeen minutes (as I write this sentence).

Got to school, listened to music for awhile. Eventually went inside. Watched John finally get his letter jacket, and find out that they put the wrong numbers. That was funny.

Mr. Jack pulled me aside to do the pledge, but didn't tell me what I was doing. Essentially, he took me and forced me to do the pledge. He was also kind of jerky in what he said. I had a rough weekend, my voice is sore, I can't answer loudly. I also left the pause in between 'one nation' and 'under god'.

Started watching Grave of the Fireflies in Japanese. I've seen it before. It's still as depressing as the first time.
Algebra 2 was bad. I don't know. Just was.
Lunch was alright. Weird, for some reason.
Earth/Space was boring. Neither Taylor or Jordan were there.
Creative Writing was alright.

Hung out with Tucker and Anthony for a bit. Went home. Ellen came over to watch something that Carie made for us. It was awesome. Then we went and hung out for a bit. Then I came home.

Woo...

11/21/08 The Show went on

I give this two titles.
One because it was late.
And one because it encompasses two days.

Friday. Got to school early. Read my script in the morning. Waited for Evan or William to show up, practiced lines before class.
W131. Work some on my Trend paper, and ran lines with Allison.
English. More discussion over Scarlet Letter. Studied lines.
AP Psychology was boring. Watched some stuff. Did some stuff. Boring. Studied lines.
Lunch. Ate. Studied lines.
German. Couldn't study lines all that much due to active working in class. I got done first though, which gave me some time.

Rehearsal. We started off with our worst scene, so that didn't go well, but the rest of rehearsal ran pretty epically.
The show itself was amazing. I especially liked mine and Taylor's last scene.
Mr. Bryant shook my hand and congratulated me, which is weird, because I'm positive that he dislikes me.

FEATURE: SATURDAY
The 1 o'clock show was tiring. We were wiped, but we went on. Small crowd, but alright audience. Afterwards, ate really quickly, then got ready for the 4 oclock show. Allison and I only miss a little bit of our scenes, and that was mainly my fault. Damned hasting refrigerators.
The seven oclock show was my favorite, only because Ethan and I hit most of our final scene together.
Tear down was awesome. Contrary to popular belief, I do tear down. After that, I dropped Anthony off, then went to Starbucks to celebrate. We eventually migrated over to Will's (who lives next door) and I was there until about 4:30 am.
I woke up Sunday at 3 pm.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: All week for Midwinter tech week, I had a picture of just one person. And there's Ellen. :D

11/20/08

The following is an account of a really crappy day. Not only that, but details are weak.

But here it goes.

Got to school. Bad start. Tired.

Had to take senior group picture at 7:30/ I was there at 7:30. The picture was taken at 8:16. Jerks.
During Japanese, I was given a pass to go to a 21st Century Scholars meeting. Waited forever for Ric to get there, and it turns out that I didn't have to be there and the school didn't figure that out.
Went back to Japanese. Watching a movie called Japan's War.
Algebra 2. Boring. Simple.
Lunch was awesome. Thanksgiving Dinner. Greatest lunch we get.
Earth/Space was also boring. Plus Matt was upset. So it was quiet...
Creative Writing was also boring, but our next project seems awesome.

Rehearsal. This is where things fall apart. As of the night before the show opened, we were bad. And I figure it was mostly my fault. Everyone had problems, but a lot of it was me.
We kept going until late, and I personally left feeling dedicated to make it better for friday.

<3 Peace

11/19/08 Mittwoch

This is one of those posts where, sure, it's the next day, but it feels like the same day to me.

W131 was boring. We learned that plagiarism is bad. Woo....
English, more discussion over Scarlet Letter.
Ap Psychology, watched movies. There was a moonwalking gorilla, and nobody noticed.
Lunch was cool.
German was tiring.

The whole day I tried to find times to study my script. It paid off a bit. Ellen also found a way to style my hair for the play so that it doesn't have to be cut. All I need to do is dye it gray.
Rehearsal was alright. If we, mostly me, could get the lines down, we'd be amazing.

Afterwards, went to Will's to work on our lines.

Now home.

11/18/08

Japanese was better. Loads better. I has friends in there again. Woo....

Algebra was once again forgettable.

Lunch was fun.

Earth/Space was ok. Matt was talking out the side of his mouth, and ended up having to not talk for the last 15 minutes.

Creative Writing, we finished up dialogues and moved on to POV writing.

Rehearsal was ok. The system was working again. I was upset about stupid non related things, but I got over it.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Hannah going over lines with us.

11/17/08

First week of tech week.

IO and I were looking up random pick up lines during W131. It was hilarious. We also discussed comics, her love for Abe Sapien, and the new Star Wars movie.
English, we discussed Scarlett letter once again.
Ap Psychology was alright. We watched stuff about memory.
Lunch was cool. Sat inside. It's cold these days, and no one else will go outside with us.
German was alright.

Rehearsal was cool. Jacobs' got this system of how everything was to work out, and it worked out quite nicely.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: IO is make up girl. And like always, she had saddened face in blog pic.

11/14/08

This isn't the first time I've attempted to write this one.

On 11/14, Japanese sucked. I'm still getting treated like a third wheel. As of this date anyway.
Algebra 2 was forgetful, as well as Earth Space Science.
Creative Writing, we started acting out the dialogues. I got stuck with 4 scripts.

After school, I went home for a bit, cleaned slightly, then went over to Anthony's to get ready to hang with Ellen and Beth. We couldn't pick a movie because nothing decent was out, so we went to Ellen's and watched Pirates 3.
Spent the night at Anthony's. Played video games most of the time. Not having cable, I didn't realize that Adult Swim has Clerks: The Animated Series in its syndication.

Man of many cloths

Woke up this morning. Made some hot chocolate. Drank it in the car waiting for someone. Ellen finally showed up and we went inside.
W131 was another work day, and I got stuff done. I also officially became an Ordained Minister for the Universal Life Church of the United States of America.
Anywho, english was another discussion day. Boring. Got some stuff done though.
AP Psych test. It felt easy to me. I understood it. It was cool.
German was alright. Lunch made me feel nauseated though, so I didn't feel that good.
Didn't have rehearsal right away, so I helped tech out. Rehearsal was good, or so I though. Better than yesterday.

Didn't hang out with anyone. Just went home.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: It was National Write Love on your Arm day

11/12/08 THE NEW SSR

I put a date title because technically it's the 13th now. But I gave it a real title because it still feels like today.
Taylor Walden and Michael Tucker started the Semi-Formal Society Reform (SSR) for us. We dress up semi-formal every wednesday for the rest of the year. In all honesty, it made me feel better. Came in in the morning to find out that Jacobs one upped us by wearing a suit. Jerk.
Anywho, Japanese was the same as last time. Ended up working by myself. This time, they realized that I did this though, and tried to get me back. I was already halfway done with translation, so I didn't.
Algebra 2 was alright. Pretty easy stuff. Fortuna was wiped though. Kept lying his head on desks when he had down time (when we worked on problems).
Lunch was fun. Somehow. That Jacob kid was less annoying that usual. Ryan and Fred weren't there though.
Earth/Space was also fun. Socialization again, plus some weird map experiment. No clue.
We just read some more in Creative Writing. Next time, we're going to do the diologues with actors...

Rehearsal was alright. Not really what anyone wanted it. Then we got chewed out due to some people's lack to work, which made lots of people mad.
After that, we ventured out in the rain, and a few of us went to hardees.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Jermas dressing up for SSR. He got his whole outfit, plus a jacket that matches for five bucks at Goodwill.

11/11/08

W131 was basically another work day. Simply put. Talking to IO is always fun, but just another work day.
English was cool too. We had a discussion most of the class, until Bunnell got mad at some kids, and we went to doing homework early.
AP Psychology was fun. I don't remember much of what we did, which sucks, because I remember that it was fun, but still.
Lunch was alright. People don't like sitting outside any more.
German was cut short, due to the veterans day convocation.
The convocation was the same stuff we get every year, but it's a cool convo.

Rehearsal was alright. Still in a down mood. Was pretty down until the ride back from Morristown (robotics).

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Jake and DJ at lunch. The table I would normally sit at is crowded always, and I'd rather sit with those people outside. So I sat with DJ and Jake. Then Chris sat down. Then we wanted to stab him.

11/10/08

Monday back to school. Woo...

Japanese was sucky. Simply put. I did translation by myself and then just kinda chilled. Not going to force myself in on people. Just going to do it on my own.
Algebra was better. Fortuna is one of my best teachers right now, even though IO sucks at PreCal...er, doesn't like how he teaches.
Lunch was fine.
Earth/Space was boring. Notes...
Creative writing was also boring. Acting has to do with creatively writing, I find out. We also started reading some stuff outloud.
Rehearsal was alright. I wasn't having a good day. Just wasn't.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: This was ballsy. Mrs. Gummer was directly right of this picture, turned slightly the other way. Matt ruined it. Taylor's tired looking smile makes it worth it though

11/07/08

Friday. Boring, boring friday.

W131 was a work day.
English was boring. Reminded of take home test. Read some stuff. Pretty much it.
AP Psychology was fairly boring.
German was still sad, because Frau wasn't there.

Had a very, very pointless NaNo meeting. Seriously. It, like a lot of people's writing, is just falling apart.

There's really nothing else to write about.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Ellen's sad face. But it was so cute. And she didn't like any of the other pictures.

11/06/08

I sorta remember this day.

First off, sorry for taking so long. I just figured that I have one more USB port than I first imagined, so I didn't know I would be able to get my pics from my camera.

Anywho, Japanese was good. I remember that much.
Algebra was alright. I'm good at it. What more should I want?
No LUnch.
Messed with Balloons during earth/space. Fun experiment. Socialization.
Easy Creative writing.
Jacobs canceled practice until the following monday.

HALF day.

Hung out with Anthony, PK, Fred, Brandon, and Carie at PK's house, then chilled at Anthony's for a bit.

That's all i remember,which is good, considering.

Postscript: Alycia and Branden. Japanese buddies.

UPDATED MWHAHAHAHAHA

Woo. Updated. Swank.

Too bad today was sorta slow.

Went over some MLA stuff during W131. Mr. Bryant came in to watch Mr. Oliver. Sat right by me. Clicked his pen. the. whole. time.
English was alright. Got the Scarlet Letter. Read some other stuff by Hawthorne. I hate him. I hate him so bad. Kidding, but dude has a hard on for detail.
Ap Psychology was more of a work day. But it was alright.
Lunch was fun. IO didn't eat outside, but eventually came outside. 'Twas fun.
German was sad again with lack of Frau. Mr Goodin thinks he has run the classroom all year.

Rehearsal was cool. Finally got to block on stage. That felt good. Propz to the techies for the set. Looks beautiful and can only get better with them.

Feature: Now that Barack Obama is gonna be president, I want two things.
1) To finally get to know what he means by change
2) For everyone to call him Prezzizle Baracko instead of President Obama

Luckily, I remember this day vividly.

Woke up early to go vote. Stood in line, found out I should've been at Harris. Got to vote anyway. Woo.

Went to school, waited for people. Went inside.

Japanese went slow. But the good slow. Basically did work while hanging with Branden and Alycia. Got my homework done and turned it in.

Algebra 2 was alright. Pop quiz. Easy. new girl is in there too.
Earth/Space was alright. Mrs. Gummer was back. That bites. Slow day
Creative Writing was alright. Went over dialogue stuff.

Rehearsal was cool. Went over some stuff, and got out of there.

Blue day.

W131-Went over the stuff for our trend paper

It was a monday

And a gold day.

But it was a blue day. I can tell by the picture.

Pebz is my dealer

Turns out it's easier when you're not paying attention.

Got to school. Carie was there. Listened to tunes. Ellen got there. Went inside.
Helped Ellen with word search.

Japanese was boring. Just completely boring. The atmosphere wasn't there.
Algebra 2 was alright. I like the stuff we learn in there. I get it. Even the real world situations.
Lunch was cool. Right before, I got some senior stuff. Lunch itself was just weird.
Earth/Space was fun, but only because of the extent that we were joking around. I still took notes. Note days are the best.
Creative Writing, we had Haas. I hate her as a sub. As a person, she's fine. As a sub, not so much. Finished up Dead Poets Society. Great movie, see it if you haven't already.
Rehearsal after school. Pages 1-14. I like the system of doing things. I'm just trying my best not to let Jacobs and everyone else down. Most dedication I've given almost anything ever.

Postscript: Cameron came to visit.

:D

Got to school. Carie was already there. I got there later due to waking up late and scraping ice off my windows.
Listened to some tunes until Ellen got there, then went inside.
W131 was boring.
English was alright. We actually watched the music video for Tom Petty's "Last dance of Mary Jane". That was awesome.
In Ap Psych, we did stuff.
Lunch was fun. Outside gets colder as the year rolled on.
German was equally boring as W131, but we got new seats.
Rehearsal was fun. I'm afraid of heights. Mostly the steep ladder part. But it was fun hanging with Ethan, Tucker, Allison, Will, and eventually Jayme and Frankie for most of the time.
Hung with Carie a bit afterwards.

Now I'm home.

Woo.

Flash! AH AH!

Got to school. Sat in my car, listening to music and doing homework. Eventually, mom pulled up, thinking I had left my lights on. That was funny.
Finally, someone showed up (Carie) and we went inside.
Morning was a bit meh-some, but good nonetheless.
Japanese was alright, yet boring, sushi-style.
Algebra 2 was simple. The stuff we learn in there is easy.
Lunch was fun.
Earth/Space was just stupid. Mrs. Gummer has the most roundabout ways of doing stuff. Like not teaching. That's a main one.
Creative Writing, we watched Dead Poets Society, which I love. We have to do stuff with it, but meh. It's all good.

After school, I had read through, and now that I read Willy's lines aloud, I realize that he's a lot more crazy than I first gave him credit.

After that, I went to the choir concert and hung with Ryan, Jayme, and Kortney. Kortney, Carie, and I hung around for a little bit after, then we went home.

Postscript: Ryan and Kortney right before the show was about to start. Didn't realize flash was on. Made pic worse than it should've been.

Meeting One: Success

Got up, went to school. Sat for awhile listening to music, until Carie got there. Went inside and hung out until class started.
Finished Ever After in W131. Mr. Bryant got all upset with watching movies in class, and Mr. Oliver won the verbal beatdown by telling him to take it up with IU's curiculum.
English was cool. We studied the Raven. No joke. The only thing we did was pick apart the Raven by Edgar Allen Poe.
AP Psych was alright. We didn't really do much, but promises of future things.
Lunch was awesome. We had fried greenbeans. We sat outside, and even though it felt good, people were complaining about the cold.
German was just bleh.

After school, we went to Starbucks (after a financial beatdown from my mother) for the first NaNoWriMo meeting. Not only did we get stuff done, we had fun, which is just as much important.
Carolyn was the most vague, and hilarious, and contradictory person to talk. She had us laughing (at her expense, no offense to her) for 16 minutes by Carie's watch. That was great.

Feature: First Nine Weeks winners (Favorite person)
W131: IO BATKA
ENGLISH: JESSICA GEORGE
AP PSYCHOLOGY: PEBBLES
GERMAN: CASEY BOLDA
JAPANESE: CHELSEA SCOTT/ALYCIA KNOX
ALGEBRA 2: MANDI THOMPSON
EARTH/SPACE: JORDON BURNSIDE
CREATIVE WRITING: TONI TILLET

Postscript: I caught IO, Carie, Fred, and Anthony as they were laughing at Carolyn. I tried to get everyone, but didn't have the room.

10/17/08

Japanese was alright from what I could remember. The atmosphere was in one of those good moods that I'm in usually.
Algebra 2 was boring. We had a sub. We took notes. That was pretty much it.
Lunch was fine. I don't remember what I did?
Earth/Space was also boring. Test. And other stuff. It was pretty easy. I've retained all this stuff.
Creative Writing was also fun. All character stuff, which for me, is a good thing. I like doing character stuff, but it's one of my weakest points.

After school we had rehearsal. And then the play. And an awesome audience. And good energy. It went awesomely.

Feature: I HAD A GOOD WEEKEND. Can't go into details, 'cuz that isn't what the blog is about.

Postscript: Frankie, Carolyn, and Peyton (sp?) standing around.

10/16/08

Woo, way days late.

Sadly, I don't remember anything that I did.

Had W131, watched Ever After.
Had English, stuff about Poe
Psych, we were blindfolded. It was fun, I'll give it that. We made human pyramid, found stuff, wandered aimlessly. 'Twas much fun.
Lunch, was difficult blinded
German, boredom

Rehearsal, happened. From what I remember, it was alright.

Sorry abo0ut the lack of stuff, but Carie had thought she had lost her camera. It took awhile to get the pic. And then I just didn't feel like it.

FREE CAR WASH!

Woke up, drove to school. Like always. Sat in the parking lot listening to my newest playlist. It's amazing. It's my favorite and it has no NIN or Smashing Pumpkins. That's just...wow.

Anywho, shortly thereafter, Ellen pulled up, so we walked up to the school and went to the Japanese Club Doughnut Breakfast.

A bunch of people has PSATs today, so Japanese was low on people, especially people that I talk to. Algebra was even less.
Lunch was pretty cool. No real reason. Just was.
Earth/Space was boring. There's a new girl in our class though, so a new person to get weirded out and laughing about our group. We had to watch AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH and it was boring.
Creative Writing was fun. We're beginning on character development.

Woot.

Which reminds me that NANOWRIMO is soon.

Rehearsal was simply boring. Dinner Theater just gets that way. Without an audience, there's not much to do.
Afterwards, it was pouring. I handed my stuff off, ran across the parking lot, got in my car, came back to drive Carie to her car, and the rain was nearly stopped.
Bull....

Oh well.

Postscript: Ellen, pointing at something. She seems excited about it though.

So close

Got to school at the normal time. Read with the 5 girls who were at callbacks. Cast list finalized at the end of the day.
W131 was fun. We just did projects. Next time we start watching Ever After. The class is getting progressively better...for now.
English was boring. Poe was a good writer, yes, but I don't like him all that much. We pretty much just watched his biography the whole time.
Walking up to the door for AP Psych, Mr. Leswing tells us that as soon as we cross the threshold into the room, we can't talk. Not even during lunch. It was a thing about non-verbal communication. On Thursday, we are going to be blindfolded.
Lunch was fun with not being able to talk.
German was alright. Mostly notes... woo...notes...

Rehearsal was long and drawn out today, and afterwards, I gotta hang out with Anthony, Carie, and Tucker. That was fun.

Feature: I wrote this with three minutes to spare.

Postscript: Madi shows up to tech for no reason. So I took the picture. She posed at the last possible second. Skillz

quick

Got into school. Mr. Jacobs delayed callbacks to tomorrow morning. Yeesh.

Japanese was simple. Turns out our story was a ghost story, which I called. Class ended early.
So did Algebra 2, where we had a test.
The reason for the shortages was due to a Voice convocation about the dangers of drugs and stuff. The guy told a story about his daughter who died of Heroin abuse. His tale was gripping, and my attention was held.
Earth/Space was boring, as was Creative Writing.

Rehearsal was drawn out, and Ted wasn't even there. Afterward, Anthony, Carie, and I hung out a bit.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Anthony, Me, and Carie chilling out on Carie's car.

A body piercing cooler than any navel ring.

Went to school, finished up the note cards for Psychology. That was fun and crazy. Got more Gummy Bears from Kayla. Remember kids, when Zaq has candy, he'll share it with people he likes.
First period, W131. I'm working with Mallorie Taylor and Allison McCord for the Cinderella thing. We got 1960's poem version which was just odd. Really, really odd. Probably made more sense on an acid trip.
In the end, it was fine enough.
Second period, English, we finished Crucible. i did the amazing multitasking of watching the movie/joining in discussion/and doing my AP Psych homework. Woo!
Ap Psych, TEST! WOO! My homework was done, and I was ready for the test. I feel that I did fairly well, but we'll see. Those things have the ability to come back on me. After the test, it was about 12:15, so I felt the need to go down to the CMR FINALLY and get my blood drawn. This year, they have the RA maching, where they only take the red cells from you and put your plasma back, as well as saline to replace the liquid. I chose it. Every time you get the return, it gets really cold in your arm. There are four draws and four returns. The returns got progressively colder. It was awesome.
By the time I was done, SSR was over and it was time for German. Most of what we did was writing, so that was fun to do without bending my arm. Frau kept commenting on my paleness and saying she wished she had something to feed me, even though I felt fine. It was great.

After school, I had rehearsal. It was alright. Repeatative, since a lot of people either don't know their lines or keep changing things up. Hell, Taylor didn't even get to die. All in all, it was alright.

Feature: Zaq has to be there Monday to read with potential Linda's for the female callback. Sarcastic woo...

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: I couldn't get video of the needle going into my vein, but I got a picture of the aftermath. You can tell by the tube that it's during the return, since saline is pumping back in.

Jaded...Ja-Ja-Jaded

Woke up and got to school. Woo-ness. Got to hang out with nobody and was listening to my ipod most of the time. Conversations only when I wanted them. It was pretty sweet.
Japanese felt good. I didn't have the same dialogue partner, but that's not the good part. At one point, Mr. Bryant came in, so instead of jumping to Kenshin like normal, sensei quickly put up a worksheet and had us read off what they were until Mr. Bryant left. That was awesome.
Kenshin was what felt right. It was relaxing and comfortable, and friendly. Not the show itself, but the atmosphere. Everything felt right.
Algebra 2 was pretty wicked. We went over homework and spent the rest of the time talking while putting together our portfolios and finishing up some stuff. I liked it. Most of my classes ended up like that today.
Lunch was cool. I don't remember much from it. I was kind of there, just listening to conversations and joining in when I felt like it.
Earth/Space was boring like always, but it felt more peaceful. Nothing much to say.
Creative writing was lacking its normal routine, due to Mrs. Heck being absent, and Mrs. Haas being out sub. Luckily, we're in the computer lab working on our projects, so not much to worry about. Mrs. Haas' threats are empty, so we talked.
Before creative writing, I had put my ipod in my pocket, so that after the class, I could blare the music and not have anyone ruin the cast list for me. When I got there, it wasn't up yet, so I relaxed against the wall, listening to Jaded by Aerosmith. Mr. Jacobs finally came around the corner and put it up.
We had CSz, but due to dinner theater, I had to miss it. Instead, I was at rehearsal, which was good. I think it went well. I'm connecting more with people that I would regret not knowing as friends after I graduate. I'm glad for this.
I'm also glad that Sammy is going to do sound tech for Midwinter.

Feature 1: Zaq Cass is going to play Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman" for the GCHS Drama Department.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: The pic I wanted got deleted. I'm not saying I don't like this one. It's pretty awesome. The other one was more of a focus on Carie though. This has Carie being Carie with Carolyn and Will in the background

A Day For Arthur Miller

Woke up, got a ride from school. Brakes mucked up on my car. Fixed. Woo. Bleed money.

W131 was pretty awesome. We get an opinion on our next paper, so that's cool.
In English, we started watching The Crucible.
AP Psych, we continued on with our projects and stuff. Test next time. Woo, cramming.
Lunch, only seven of us went outside. It wasn't that badly cold/raining. People need to relax.
(God, it was freezing)
German was cool. We go beyond learning though, and take it to the very last minute, which annoys me a bit.

After school, we had auditions for the Midwinter, Death of a Salesman. I tried out for Willy. I hope I get it. That'd be sweet. I only mucked up on lines, and Mr. Jacobs didn't know the monologue, so he wouldn't have realized.

After that, I hung with Ellen and Anthony backstage, waiting for the end.

Then home.

Then fell asleep.
Now awake.

Postscript: Mr Jacob's giving a spiel.

short

Today was grey. Simple as it is, today was grey. Even as I write this, the skies are dark and the ground is littered with an earlier rainfall.
The atmosphere always matches the mood when I'm actually paying attention.

Japanese was alright. Annoying, but alright.
Algebra 2 was the same.
And Earth/Space
And Creative writing.

Then there's comedy sportz. Which I'm not getting into. IO can go take her opinion of my role in it and shove it up her ass.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: The only happiness in my day was spending the little time I got to with Ellen. Luckily I took this pic. Luckily, she smiled.

I don't wear blue jeans because I love the rabbits

Woo, I'm writing on a day that I experienced today. That's sweet.

The day went fairly quick. Apparently, I didn't learn much.

W131, we went over papers.
English, we had tests.
AP Psychology, we did presentations.
Lunch was alright.
And in German, we watched a movie.

Simplicity.

Rehearsal sucked.

Got home. Waited. Worked on my Nanowrimo Character Development most of the day.
Mom got home.
Ate dinner.
Watched tv.

Then nothingness.

Just encouraging people to join Nanowrimo and tell me their ID numbers so I can watch their progress.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: Ellen wanted a hug, but IO was holding her back. Carie likes being in pics.

10/03/08

Ah, now what do I remember about Friday?
Not much...

Wow....

Japanese first. Test, then an hour of Kenshin, which is crazy.
Then Algebra 2. Easy stuff, if I remember.
Lunch-normal
Earth/Space- boring, thus normal
And Creative Writing probably rocked my socks. The assignments get exponentially greater in that class.

Also went to Riley Days and had an awesome time. Went to Battle of the Bands, watched Chelsea and Panic Prone, which was awesome. Chelsea is an amazing singer, and her singing Immigrant Song gave me chillz.

Saturday was awesome too. That's all I'm saying.

<3 Peace
~Zaq

Postscript: We had rehearsal shortly after school. Mr. Jacob's bday was fun. The pic is Tucker, myself, and IO before rehearsal.
