11/24/08

I only missed Monday by seventeen minutes (as I write this sentence).

Got to school, listened to music for awhile. Eventually went inside. Watched John finally get his letter jacket, and find out that they put the wrong numbers. That was funny.

Mr. Jack pulled me aside to do the pledge, but didn't tell me what I was doing. Essentially, he took me and forced me to do the pledge. He was also kind of jerky in what he said. I had a rough weekend, my voice is sore, I can't answer loudly. I also left the pause in between 'one nation' and 'under god'.

Started watching Grave of the Fireflies in Japanese. I've seen it before. It's still as depressing as the first time.
Algebra 2 was bad. I don't know. Just was.
Lunch was alright. Weird, for some reason.
Earth/Space was boring. Neither Taylor or Jordan were there.
Creative Writing was alright.

Hung out with Tucker and Anthony for a bit. Went home. Ellen came over to watch something that Carie made for us. It was awesome. Then we went and hung out for a bit. Then I came home.

Woo...

11/21/08 The Show went on

I give this two titles.
One because it was late.
And one because it encompasses two days.

Friday. Got to school early. Read my script in the morning. Waited for Evan or William to show up, practiced lines before class.
W131. Work some on my Trend paper, and ran lines with Allison.
English. More discussion over Scarlet Letter. Studied lines.
AP Psychology was boring. Watched some stuff. Did some stuff. Boring. Studied lines.
Lunch. Ate. Studied lines.
German. Couldn't study lines all that much due to active working in class. I got done first though, which gave me some time.

Rehearsal. We started off with our worst scene, so that didn't go well, but the rest of rehearsal ran pretty epically.
The show itself was amazing. I especially liked mine and Taylor's last scene.
Mr. Bryant shook my hand and congratulated me, which is weird, because I'm positive that he dislikes me.

FEATURE: SATURDAY
The 1 o'clock show was tiring. We were wiped, but we went on. Small crowd, but alright audience. Afterwards, ate really quickly, then got ready for the 4 oclock show. Allison and I only miss a little bit of our scenes, and that was mainly my fault. Damned hasting refrigerators.
The seven oclock show was my favorite, only because Ethan and I hit most of our final scene together.
Tear down was awesome. Contrary to popular belief, I do tear down. After that, I dropped Anthony off, then went to Starbucks to celebrate. We eventually migrated over to Will's (who lives next door) and I was there until about 4:30 am.
I woke up Sunday at 3 pm.

11/20/08

The following is an account of a really crappy day. Not only that, but details are weak.

But here it goes.

Got to school. Bad start. Tired.

Had to take senior group picture at 7:30/ I was there at 7:30. The picture was taken at 8:16. Jerks.
During Japanese, I was given a pass to go to a 21st Century Scholars meeting. Waited forever for Ric to get there, and it turns out that I didn't have to be there and the school didn't figure that out.
Went back to Japanese. Watching a movie called Japan's War.
Algebra 2. Boring. Simple.
Lunch was awesome. Thanksgiving Dinner. Greatest lunch we get.
Earth/Space was also boring. Plus Matt was upset. So it was quiet...
Creative Writing was also boring, but our next project seems awesome.

Rehearsal. This is where things fall apart. As of the night before the show opened, we were bad. And I figure it was mostly my fault. Everyone had problems, but a lot of it was me.
We kept going until late, and I personally left feeling dedicated to make it better for friday.

11/19/08 Mittwoch

This is one of those posts where, sure, it's the next day, but it feels like the same day to me.

W131 was boring. We learned that plagiarism is bad. Woo....
English, more discussion over Scarlet Letter.
Ap Psychology, watched movies. There was a moonwalking gorilla, and nobody noticed.
Lunch was cool.
German was tiring.

The whole day I tried to find times to study my script. It paid off a bit. Ellen also found a way to style my hair for the play so that it doesn't have to be cut. All I need to do is dye it gray.
Rehearsal was alright. If we, mostly me, could get the lines down, we'd be amazing.

Afterwards, went to Will's to work on our lines.

Now home.

11/18/08

Japanese was better. Loads better. I has friends in there again. Woo....

Algebra was once again forgettable.

Lunch was fun.

Earth/Space was ok. Matt was talking out the side of his mouth, and ended up having to not talk for the last 15 minutes.

Creative Writing, we finished up dialogues and moved on to POV writing.

Rehearsal was ok. The system was working again. I was upset about stupid non related things, but I got over it.

11/17/08

First week of tech week.

IO and I were looking up random pick up lines during W131. It was hilarious. We also discussed comics, her love for Abe Sapien, and the new Star Wars movie.
English, we discussed Scarlett letter once again.
Ap Psychology was alright. We watched stuff about memory.
Lunch was cool. Sat inside. It's cold these days, and no one else will go outside with us.
German was alright.

Rehearsal was cool. Jacobs' got this system of how everything was to work out, and it worked out quite nicely.

11/14/08

This isn't the first time I've attempted to write this one.

On 11/14, Japanese sucked. I'm still getting treated like a third wheel. As of this date anyway.
Algebra 2 was forgetful, as well as Earth Space Science.
Creative Writing, we started acting out the dialogues. I got stuck with 4 scripts.

After school, I went home for a bit, cleaned slightly, then went over to Anthony's to get ready to hang with Ellen and Beth. We couldn't pick a movie because nothing decent was out, so we went to Ellen's and watched Pirates 3.
Spent the night at Anthony's. Played video games most of the time. Not having cable, I didn't realize that Adult Swim has Clerks: The Animated Series in its syndication.
